Connecting & Serving
At River City, we want everyone to have the opportunity to both connect and serve. There are multiple ways to both!
Here are a few:
CONNECT GROUPS
Connect Groups are the primary place where deep relationships are formed. These groups meet multiple times a month to share a meal, pray, and study together. This is the first place to look for support when life gets hard, when questions arise, or when you just need an ear to listen. We believe God calls us to seek out and support one another in gospel-centered relationships beyond Sunday mornings.
New groups are forming now for the fall. If you want to be included in a group, contact Jordan Dayoub at jdayoub@myrivercitychurch.com
WOMEN’S MINISTRY
The Women's Ministry at River City Church seeks to help women of all ages and stages of life to develop a deep personal relationship with the Lord and grow in their faith in Jesus Christ. We provide opportunities for personal and corporate Bible study, fun and fellowship in a supportive and encouraging community of sisters in Christ, a biennial retreat, and service to the people and communities around us.
To learn more, you can email womenscouncil@myrivercitychurch.com
MEN’S MINISTRY
The Men’s Ministry group meets every Tuesday morning at the church office to study together, develop connections, and to learn how to be missional in our everyday lives. The intention is to create a space where difficult questions of faith can be asked, struggles in life can be shared, and the Spirit of God through the Word of God directs us. The men have multiple opportunities for having fun and fellowship together throughout the year, as well as participating in service projects. There is also a biennial retreat.

RIVER CITY KIDS
River City views our children as an integral part of the body of Christ. We want them to feel connected, loved, and known when they enter River City Kids. We are dedicated to equipping them with age-appropriate Biblical truths and urging them to live lives worthy of God. We offer a staffed nursery and classes for kids up to the 5th grade.

MISSIONS AND OUTREACH
There are several outreach ministries that River City supports. These include:
HOME
River City Church is in the midst of renovating a building! We need volunteers to help move the renovation/construction process along by working in the evenings and Saturdays in partnership with our contractor. It is a great way to both serve and connect! You can contact Ed Diekmann for more information at diekmanne@hotmail.com
We also have a capital campaign underway to fund the renovation. If you would like to participate, please contact David Cornett at dcornett@myrivercitychurch.com
FUTURE MINISTRY TEAMS
Once we are ready to move into the building, there will be more opportunities to serve. We will need a Maintenance Team, a Landscaping/Grounds team, and more. Further information will follow as we get closer to move-in date.

RESTORE ST. CHARLES
Restore St. Charles is a non-denominational Christian outreach ministry that seeks to demonstrate the love of Christ in a real and tangible way. River City Church is blessed to work with this ministry that was founded to help our fellow citizens with the challenges facing them today, thus enabling them to reclaim their future.
Restore St. Charles is an all-volunteer organization. Volunteers are the heart and soul of the organization and are focused on helping where help is needed. No special skills are needed other than a willingness to help our neighbors in need. We pray that you will consider joining!
